StudioLine generates brilliant thumbnails. Thumbnail sizes can be slider-controlled
from 50 x 50 to 1,000 x 1,000 pixels. IPTC and Exif information is imported into the
image database and can be modified. Specific ICC color profiles can be assigned to
individual images.
Organizing
Easily organize your images into albums and folders. Existing folder structures found
on your hard disk can be mimicked automatically. For each folder you can define
descriptor values (such as copyright, photographer, event, location) that are used as
defaults for any new images. This reduces the effort involved with cataloguing new
images and eliminates the chance for errors. Each folder can be set up with its own
sort order.
Copies and Shortcuts
"Shortcuts" allow you to arrange images in multiple locations of the image archive,
without requiring physical copies of the image itself. All that's needed is a database
entry. The same holds true when "Copies" are used to create different treatments of
the same image. The database simply maintains unique stacks for the different image
tool settings.
Convenient and Flexible Annotating and Classifying
With StudioLine Photo Classic 3 you can rapidly annotate and index thousands of
photos with descriptions, keywords and categories.
Already existing IPTC and Exif information are imported into the image archive
database and can be modified. For comprehensive and meaningful annotations,
create an unlimited number of your own descriptor fields and type or paste text of
any length.
"Drag and Tag" keywords and categories to your images from extensible lists. Control
which keywords are used to populate IPTC or any other fields. Rank you favorites
with a 5-star rating system.
Intuitive batch processing allows you to apply the same descriptions, keywords and
ranking to a large series of pictures, rather than having to manually annotate and
index one picture at a time.
A convenient search and replace function can quickly change existing keywords or
descriptions.
Use the "Mark for
" function to compile images from multiple folders for particular
tasks, such as printing or emailing, or for a display on a lightbox. The lightbox
presents its content in a larger scale for easy comparison of similar images.
Lightning-Fast Access to Your Image Assets
StudioLine Photo Classic 3 is the quickest way to locate images. Searching is
supported with simple or complex queries. You can choose from among 75 system
criteria plus any number of user descriptors. An intelligent search assistant suggests
specific criteria for which there are matching images. Results are found in a split-
second. Images can be viewed in a timeline, based on either the Exif creation date or
change date.
